LOOKEE- LOOKEE! FAMILYOLOGY has an ACTUAL FAMILY TREE that ANYONE can view for FREE on Tribalpages.com! Come take a look and see how everything you read about here fits in chronological context... It's also a work in progress...
(Sorry, for privacy and safety no living people are viewable without permission and password from the administrator)

The views described in this blog are as multidimensional as the sources... Facts are cited wherever possible... and attempts are made to draw an interesting narrative out of our family orchard. Giddy-Up Hoss!

Wednesday the 26th of April I finally broke down with curiosity and did some searching on Ancestry.com for relations. They let you look around, they show you teasers of what you'll finally learn after all these years, then when you click on something to see an actual record, *poof* you have to sign up.

You can get two to three weeks preview free if you give them your information to charge you at the end of that two weeks. $29 for a monthly set up, or if you do a year it's only $12 a month.

As I said, I was itching with curiosity. And it paid off some.

The ironic thing is that though I had access to four billion names and did find a bunch more than I expected to, I still could not find a birth record for my father-in-law Roczi Fragassi. He's on the 1930 census, and his father is not who I thought it was (who WE thought it was), but there is still no birth records! Did he get his name changed?

I did make some small breakthroughs in previous walls. I now know more about my father's family and some more about my mother's. Check the Winkler, Ambrose, Sharpe, and Stewart links. Even the Sprogis family tree is growing!

It's pretty cool, and I hope to burn up the road a lot more. Must be organized while shooting from the hip. It's a lot to haul...

(I only had about a month and a half to two months of a subscription at this time and I found so much stuff I had to "quit" for a while just to get it straightened out. Regroup. Assemble all data. Take a breather. As of late November, I still haven't gotten another subscription yet.)
